Teachers should not be armed at all times, and if they have a gun it should be kept in a place where no one knows but that teacher and be used in case of school shootings.

I do not agree with this. Guns are extremely dangerous if not handled correctly, and if a student were to find the secret compartment, pick the lock, and acquire a firearm the consequences would be drastic. I do think that guns should be allowed on school premises when carried by uniformed officers/deputies/security guards who will respond with the case of a shooting. Additionally, teachers would have to be trained on gun safety and procedures, which the schools may not have the budget for.

I think that teachers should not be allowed to carry and instead there should be stricter gun laws intact to further prevent school shootings instead of allowing teachers the right to carry.
