What does 'racial equality' look like in your ideal community, and what steps can we take to get there?

everyone has equal rights, and treats everyone the same regardless of skin color. teach kids about racism and inequality in school and the history behind it

everyone by law has rights but the way the system is, anyone with race/ ethnic background will never be treated the same as someone with a white skin color. Little kids shouldn't see this but sooner or later they will fine out the real world and see that the system is messed up because of our color and background, and nothing will change that.

We can start by treating everyone equally and with lots of kindness.

Racial equality is more like fairness to me. I don't want what the person next to me has I want the same opportunity and chance to get what he/she has or more. In my community we can get away from the small town best friend helps best friend mindset and give everyone a fair chance to be whatever they choose. Especially if your of higher education.
