And how is respecting the independence of other nations by not intervening in their affairs, ceasing to finance an international empire in a time of unprecedented debt, and ending shipments of fiat currency that prolong hopeless wars, human suffering, and bloodshed, in any way, shape, or form, a bad idea? Thoughts?

WW2 comes to mind. When America goes isolationist, the worst of world powers come out to cause more suffering instead. China wouldn’t hold back if we stopped intervening. Taiwan would be there’s, BRICS would expand, your fears of “Socialism” might be realized, America would be overpowered by a tidal wave of outside influences and enemies. Ceasing our conflicts leaves them open, just as the world was before WW2 when we decided to look deep inward and nowhere else. It’s a bad plan, and don’t even get me started on leaving the UN.

With all due respect, Russia vs. Ukraine isn't a good-vs-evil battle like WWII. Russia, sure, is evil, but Ukraine isn't much better. Zelensky has banned eleven opposition political parties and destroyed an entire religious denomination in the pursuit of power. The vast majority of funds going to his government, are lining the pockets of him and his officials, not funding military operations.
