There is a significant problem in a free society when implementing such ideologies, as who gets to determine what the appropriate social goals should be can impose their own beliefs on those who may disagree thereby imposing on other citizens own personal beliefs and freedoms. This sounds like a potential path to central control. Free capitalism is the greatest social control mechanism, as consumers and workers can vote with their feet ... dont like what a company stands for, don't work there & don't buy their products. Leave social goals to charities.
