“I think it depends on the mental and physical state of the patent. If they are a vegetable and have a written will or health directive that states to do so then yes. Or if there is a great deal of pain that cannot be helped by prescription medication. However I feel that if the patient just wants to end their life for no plausible reason then no. I believe it needs to be carefully assessed with each patient.”
