2016 Ballot Measures
Here is a list of state ballot measures that Americans will vote on in the 2016 general election. There are three types of ballot measures: initiatives, referendums, and legislative propositions which make their way onto your state’s official ballot. Initiatives are ballot measures proposing a new law that have collected enough signatures to be placed on the ballot. A referendum is a ballot proposal to repeal a law and a legislative proposition is a proposal placed on the ballot by legislature.
