I think they should be labeled, but GMOs should not be banned. The only research to support the idea that GMOs are linked to cancer comes from an illegitimate study that could not be verified or replicated. There are only 13 FDA-approved GMOs(i.e. BT or Round-up Ready Corn), and I don't see any difference between inserting a gene into an organism or cross-breeding through natural selection to get similar results. The reality is, I don't think we could feed the growing population without GMOs.
