I think it's great to own a gun...but why is it acceptable to take it in public...it's not the Wild West. It should be hard to get a weapon, there should be at least, criminal or mental health checks.
In case you get robbed on the side of the street? Or the building you are in gets attacked? Or...there are plenty of reasons that would take all day to talk about.
