Remove all existing tax loopholes for individuals and large corporations, limit tax deductions, and tax alternative forms of compensation for the rich

 @9GZPPYFRepublican from Minnesota  answered…2yrs2Y

tax the rich that did not work for that money but inherited it. and don't raise taxes on the rich that actually worked for it.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas  commented…2yrs2Y

That means we should also tax business owners and capital owners who did not work for the profits they took.

 @9FY2WRNRepublican from Michigan  answered…2yrs2Y

The rich already pay a fair share now corporations have alot of loop holes for them so if we reduce the loopholes and yellow tape I think that would be great

  @9CJ6CB6 from Virginia  commented…2yrs2Y

The rich rarely ever pay their taxes, even on gains that are realized and in their bank accounts. Often it's cheaper for them to just hire people to find ways around those taxes entirely.

 @8PZMRSBRepublican from Pennsylvania  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8CQND5CRepublican from Idaho  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but lower taxes for the poor, and remove all existing tax loopholes for large corporations

 @9CDY3QRRepublican from Maryland  answered…2yrs2Y

No, but Hold the ultra Rich accountable, no tax loopholes for billionaires

  @TruthHurts101 from Washington  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Reform to a flat tax

The ultra rich already pay 37 percent, in what world is that fair? Plus the "ultra Rich" hire basically 75 percent of our workforce; you'd kill all their jobs and hurt the working class by trying to protect them.

 @RationalCriticLibertarian from Tennessee  agreed…2yrs2Y

It's important to consider historical examples, such as the economic boom during the Reagan era, where reduced taxes incentivized businesses to expand and create jobs. This led to a decrease in unemployment rates and an increase in overall prosperity. If we further burden the ultra-rich with higher taxes, we risk stifling innovation and job creation, ultimately harming the working class. Can you think of any instances from history where raising taxes on the ultra-rich has led to improved economic conditions for the working class?

  @TruthHurts101 from Washington  commented…2yrs2Y

Reform to a flat tax

Not once. Taxes never have any positive effects and never will. They only destroy.

 @8WSKYBGRepublican from Connecticut  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but reform the majority of the tax system to make a more evenly distributed system

 @8SDQDKGRepublican from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

what is the point of being a CEO of a company when you make as much as a normal job if you get taxed so much

 @8L5LV3ZRepublican from Tennessee  answered…5yrs5Y

I believe taxes shouldn't be anything above 50 percent for anyone making 400 k plus a year. Although starting from 5 million dollars I think taxes should be progressively raised. If someone is a billionaire I think the cap to taxes should be 75%.

 @8D6T4FWRepublican from Missouri  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9X9CV2FRepublican from Alabama  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, but only for inherited wealth. People who work hard for their finical status should not be unfairly taxed, but those who don’t work and inherit millions should be taxed

 @9D6GQGHRepublican from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

Implement the Fair Tax and dissolve our current income tax system. www.Fairtax.org

 @9D4XJ22Republican from Utah  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9D4MSY9Constitution from Florida  answered…2yrs2Y

no income tax at all, one flat universal tax(roughly 30%) applied to all NEW goods, no tax on any required items for living or used items ie used cars

 @98Z27GTConstitution from Idaho  answered…3yrs3Y

 @97HM3PVRepublican from Utah  answered…3yrs3Y

If we have a flat rate of taxes, you pay more taxes if you earn more money. We shouldn't have an increased rate of tax for those who make more money.

 @MJStevens94Republican  from Texas  answered…3mos3MO

Yes, and remove all tax loopholes for large corporations, while giving tax breaks to small businesses, coupled with cutting spending.

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican  from Maryland  answered…8mos8MO

No, and reform to a flat tax because taxing the rich people more so the government can fund more programs to help the poor people is socialism, which doesn't motivate workers to work as hard as they can as well as capitalism.

  @HelcovichEmireRepublican  from Maryland  answered…8mos8MO

No, and reform to a flat tax. Taxing the rich people more so the government can fund more programs to help the poor people is communism.

 @9ZDTFT3Republican from Tennessee  answered…11mos11MO

lower taxes for all but for poor do background checks and see if their reasoning for needing government help is valid

 @9YD7MZWRepublican from Montana  answered…11mos11MO

I think they should make taxes equal for all people but in times of extreme treatment, some people do need help and should have texted lowered or raised to their liking.

 @9YCBLKWRepublican from Pennsylvania  answered…11mos11MO

I feel like they should and it could help others but before I could agree on this I would like to know possible outcomes and feelings. Sure the rich might have been born like that or worked hard to rise up they could deserve it or not.

 @9Y8P8ZHRepublican from Alabama  answered…11mos11MO

only raise taxes for the people in the upper class but only if their pay is able to afford the raise

 @9Y53WFWRepublican from Illinois  answered…11mos11MO

Abolish income tax, reduce spending on foreign affairs, increase tariffs on foreign countries selling in US markets

 @9XZL8MBRepublican from Arkansas  answered…11mos11MO

I believe there is a way to avoid paying as much in taxes based off several factors like owning a LLC. write-offs, etc.

 @9XVDKSQRepublican from Pennsylvania  answered…11mos11MO

I feel like certain areas of each states should be different. For example, somewhere in New York City where people are getting by, shouldn’t be paying as much as someone Beverly Hills.

 @9XPRNWPRepublican from Texas  answered…11mos11MO

Consider transition back to tax tariffs and remove income tax to incentivize citizens in the workforce.

 @9XMZCNFRepublican from California  answered…11mos11MO

I think that we should only pay taxes to help the city but not pay taxes to support someone who doesn't want to work and just collect welfare

 @9XGP427Republican from Pennsylvania  answered…11mos11MO

A little bit because if you tax them to much then they will raise prices to compensate for them, making prices higher for everyone.

 @9XCYX9VRepublican from Minnesota  answered…11mos11MO

Probably just keep it the same. Most people will take advantage of not working compared to the citizens that work in hard in the economy.

 @9XBHR37Republican from Maryland  answered…11mos11MO

keep current tax but make it so that they cant get tax cuts for businesses and other stuff like that

 @9XBG7F7Republican from Minnesota  answered…11mos11MO

I mean I'm kinda on both sides of this cause taxing them more cause they make more money is stupid but if they did pay more then we have more money to build and make nicer things

 @KVF911Republican  from Illinois  answered…11mos11MO

Reduce corporate tax, close tax loopholes, increase taxes on wealthy individuals, abolish taxes on all farms that make less than $10,000,000, lower taxes for everyone making under $100,000 a year, make government spending more efficient to reduce costs

 @9X7XMTTRepublican from Indiana  answered…11mos11MO

Yes raise the taxes on anyone making over 1 million a year but also lower taxes on the poor and remove all tax loopholes for corporations.

 @9X4GZR6Republican from Alabama  answered…11mos11MO

Americans should be taxed equally but if the rich can assist the country they should as a civic duty.

 @9WW6FQ6Republican from Tennessee  answered…12mos12MO

No but make sure employers are treating their employees fairly with correct compensastion and benefits

 @9WVP3CNRepublican from Pennsylvania  answered…12mos12MO

I believe that the tax system should be reformed so the poor and the rich can contribute as much as they possibly can without affecting their lifestyle in a negative way

 @9WR477FRepublican from Illinois  answered…12mos12MO

Not familiar with the tax bracket but someone making $2000 shouldnt pay the same tax as someone making $75000

 @9WMPG4DRepublican from Texas  answered…12mos12MO

Don't adjust taxes until the budget is balanced and the National Debt reduced incrementally annually for 20 yrs until National Debt is 50% of GDP (i.e. adjust spending first).

 @9WJZ267Republican from California  answered…12mos12MO

Yes, and should lower the taxes for the middle class and poor as it making it impossible to live a normal life

 @9WJF4F8Republican from Kentucky  answered…12mos12MO

I think that if someone is too poor to pay a high amount in taxes, then they should apply for some type of tax reducer. And that missing tax fund should be taken from large corporations that do not need the extra money.

 @9WHR6QGRepublican from Kentucky  answered…12mos12MO

everyone should be taxed on the reasonable price for the job they work, if they don't. They shall raise it on the ones that don't have a job

 @9WHGW2LRepublican from Virginia  answered…12mos12MO

Yes and no because rich people are the same human beings as everyonre, but it depends on what house they live.

 @9WHDWKCRepublican from Texas  answered…12mos12MO

They can raise taxes on only the ultra wealthy. Those who have so much money they don't even know what to do with it.

 @9WDMVX4Republican from Idaho  answered…12mos12MO

just get rid of income tax we shouldn't be taxed on the money we work for. Also remove all existing tax loopholes for large corporations

 @9WDGLFYRepublican from Texas  answered…12mos12MO

I think people should be taxed based on their income because then being taxed on 2% of a rich persons income will be different from a poorer person but still equal.

 @9W39XFQRepublican from Utah  answered…12mos12MO

No because it won't benefit anyone; President Reagan had taxes from EVERYONE be 10%, and that worked because that is not a lot of money being taken away, but the economy would still be great.

 @9VV2N65Republican from Louisiana  answered…12mos12MO

If they are rich due to their hard work then no, but if they are a celebrity of some kind that just blow their money then yes it should be raised.

 @9VQ68MQRepublican from Oklahoma  answered…12mos12MO

No, the rich people are the ones who employ the middle class. Raising taxes on the rich could make them give their employees less money.

 @9VN3N43Republican from Nebraska  answered…12mos12MO

Yes, but to a point, not too much but a little bit because there is no reason jeff bezos should have as much money as he does and not give it back

 @9VMVRB6Republican from Georgia  answered…12mos12MO

No, because everyone lives in this country and has a choice to make money. Some people just have better choices, and are going further in life. So everyone should have the same amount of taxes.

 @9VMB55RRepublican from Idaho  answered…1yr1Y

No, I think we all pay accurate taxes based on our lifestyles. If someone has worked hard to become rich that doesn't mean they should pay more and they shouldn't have to share their riches if they don't want to.

 @9VHD9GBRepublican from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

the U.S can't raise taxes on the rich because the rich put all there money in stocks then when they need money they take some stocks out. there for there is no taxes to pay by the rich

 @9VH59CRRepublican from Oklahoma  answered…1yr1Y

I like whatever trump did during his term in 2016, but I was a kid so I wasn't paying much attention to that stuff. All I know is that the economy was better and my dad was happier.

 @9VG54M6Republican from California  answered…1yr1Y

Large cooperation should be required to pay higher taxes but private citizens who made their own money should not be required.

 @9VC6QRYRepublican from Nevada  answered…1yr1Y

They should raise or lower taxes depending on how much money you make after taxes come out of your paycheck, not your gross pay.

 @9V9WLJSConstitution from Nebraska  answered…1yr1Y

No, either reform to a flat tax, lower the tax rate and eliminate all deductions, or abolish the income tax, and reduce spending.

 @9V8T7JJRepublican from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

create a dynamic tax system that taxes you based on your class and income rate. tax rich more and enforce it with true force in law and physical force.

 @9V6XH9DRepublican from Washington  answered…1yr1Y

I feel like we should remove income tax all together, but lower property taxes, and slightly higher sales tax. Why tax the rich when we run a free market and everyone has the same opportunities you have to work hard for anything you want but when they make their dreams true through hard work why tax them.

 @9V6KW4VRepublican from Kansas  answered…1yr1Y

I believe that taxes should be raise in a linear slope as you gain net worth. However, there should be brackets so there are jumps for certain communities and they are able to live.

 @9V2LYVYRepublican from California  answered…1yr1Y

No, but remove the many many loopholes that let them pay considerably less amounts of tax for example it's kind of ridiculous that you can set up trust funds that sure lose money over time but are tax free no wonder the wealthy keep their wealth

 @9V2KZ4SRepublican from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

get rid of high fees and taxes for corporations so they can afford to pay more then decrease income tax

 @9TZRCTNRepublican from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

Reform the system to some type of flat tax while removing most loopholes and make adjustments based on the inflation rate.

 @9TV2ZBZRepublican from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

everyone should be taxed a certain percent of their income no matter how rich and maybe lower tax on the poor

 @9TT929MRepublican from New York  answered…1yr1Y

The tax rate should be the same for everyone, say like 15-20%, the amount taken (based on income) would gradually increase anyway all while the percentage remains constant.

 @9TQPYWFRepublican from Tennessee  answered…1yr1Y

I think that it should be proportional to how much you make, but not to the tune of 25%. For example, if you make a million dollars you shouldn't have to pay the government 400,000 of that I think that is ridiculous.

 @9TMYYC5Constitution  from Washington D.C.  answered…1yr1Y

No, there should be longitudinal economic studies on what's worked, for how long, and what's the best course of action for 4 years, every 4 years.

 @9THYFW7Constitution from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

No , I'm tired of the government spending so much of our money that doesn't even help us instead the are giving my money to illegals and people who can work but choose not too. The government should lower taxes on everyone

 @9THF3YFRepublican from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

No, everyone should be taxed a fair and same rate, because most of the wealthy started with nothing and built what they had and worked harder then a lot of people, as well as I feel buy taking bigger taxes for the wealthy we are driving out out wealthy Americans who can share values and provide jobs and greatness to the economy, I feel taxing the rich even more is like America is not promoting hard work and the idea of wanting to become financially free which is not what America should or was meant to stand for at all.

 @9TH37TDConstitution from North Carolina  answered…1yr1Y

No, in fact all taxes should be reduced, and while a progressive tax system can still be acceptable, it is fundamentally WRONG for half of the voting population to pay nothing into the system while SIMULTANEOUSLY voting to redistribute wealth. Everyone should contribute something to ensure accountability and fairness.

 @9TGDNBDRepublican from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

All depends on your situation. If a rich person is contributing their riches back to the country, then don't raise their taxes. If they are just keeping their riches and not doing anything with it, raise their taxes.

 @9TBG7CFRepublican from Ohio  answered…1yr1Y

If you tax the rich, the money should be used to actually help citizens instead of America last like the past 4 years. I’d pay more tax if it actually helped us

 @9T8XC58Republican from California  answered…1yr1Y

I think it should be based on how much their making, so Id say maybe yes but it depends on how much they are making and what they are using it for.

 @9T82Y8NRepublican from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

No, instead of keeping all current tax breaks for businesses, we should switch to a flat tax system based on percentages for both individuals and corporations.

 @9T444YNRepublican from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

No, take the rich based on what value they add to society. Those who are charitable and/or produce jobs for the poor should not be taxed lower. Those who are not contribute, should be taxed the higher.

 @9T3WTBZRepublican from Indiana  answered…1yr1Y

make minumum wage and rich people pay the same amount of money you owe when making a big purchase or a small purchase or any type of purschase and remove every way to find a loophole to get out of paying it

 @9SYRRWGRepublican from Alabama  answered…1yr1Y

No, abolish all income tax and sales tax on necessity items (groceries, school supplies, feminine products, etc.)

 @9SXXXBXRepublican from Florida  answered…1yr1Y

Whilst the rich should be taxed a tad bit more, but a tax hike on the rich is both unequal and unconstitutional. However, raised taxes on certain corporations would be ideal.

 @9SRNRVBRepublican from Michigan  answered…1yr1Y

Yes if they are not really paying like if they buy a painting if u buy one u also pay off your taxes and other ways like if u make your own charity and donate to that charity and give some money to others like a small one and give them like 5% of the Taxes they had to pay and give 95% to his charity and he didnt pay his taxes he is just paying himself
