they should lower tax for the rich witch would give them more money for new facilities witch can cause more people to work there and have jobs

 @B2SFTFC from Nebraska  answered…8mos8MO

Yes, but only if you make more than 1 million a year. Tax rates should also go down for people in the $100,000-$300,000 bracket

 @B2879GN from Nebraska  answered…9mos9MO

No, because the majority of the wealthy people worked hard for their money and they shouldn’t have to even it out with people who barely work.

 @9WRH3WYProgressive from Nebraska  answered…12mos12MO

Increase taxes on the wealthy while reducing taxes on the poor and remove all tax loopholes for large corporations while increasing the corporate tax and funding the IRS.

 @9VN3N43Republican from Nebraska  answered…12mos12MO

Yes, but to a point, not too much but a little bit because there is no reason jeff bezos should have as much money as he does and not give it back

 @9V9WLJSConstitution from Nebraska  answered…1yr1Y

No, either reform to a flat tax, lower the tax rate and eliminate all deductions, or abolish the income tax, and reduce spending.

 @9LTMTBV from Nebraska  answered…1yr1Y

Taxes you pay should match with your income and we should remove the loopholes the rich use to not pay their fair share

 @9KHBKDRWomen’s Equality from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Only on the extreme rich, because if it was only on "rich" people then it would be harder to obtain wealth in the long run.

 @9KCMFQ5 from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

unless the money was passes down from heratige, the rich deserve the momey they worked for so they shouldn’t have to pay more for taxes

 @9K6VYS6Progressive from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Keep the tax system, but reevaluate the legal loopholes the rich use in order to dodge taxes and receive legal tax deductions

 @9K4TF6N from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe income taxes should be abolished, nobody likes them and it only hurts the lower and middle classes

 @9HP6GG2 from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

i think we should keep the current tax structure but slightly change it so if you have a very high income you get taxed slightly more and if you have a very low income you get taxed less

 @9HLBV84 from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

No, but rich people should be judged more carefully by the government for what they do. The rich and wealthy should be expected to show a higher standard than the poor, and the absolute majority of people who are rich today deserve abject poverty. Redistribute wealth to those who seek to create beauty, not just economic returns.

 @9GS3JDT from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but if a rich person turns into a poor person, they will get some percentage of their raised income tax back.

 @9G9FCVG from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

The rich should have to pay more because they have found loopholes and have not had to pay nearly as much as they should

 @9FWGQJT from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, raise taxes on the rich, and lower taxes for the poor. The amount of taxes you pay should be an equal percent to the annual salary you earned.

 @9FQ4YVV from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

I feel that they need to balance the tax structure so that it's fair for all of us.

 @9FNZ6MY from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

We should tax based on the percentage of wealth earned. No loopholes, shenanigans, etc. Plain and simple.

 @9FJQLN6 from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Remove taxes, only for things that citizens mutually agree on, like: free health care, public works projects, etc.

 @9FHN3F6Populist from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

income tax should be abolished back to charging on import and export goods not our own citizens

 @9F8XXYJ from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

I think that some people should pay more depending on how much they get paid and where they live

 @9F4G8GY from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9DBDFFY from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8WG27YB from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Fix Loopholes and have rich donate portions of their money to non-political causes.

 @96N6GGFRepublican from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

No keep percentage tax brackets and adjust all brackets IF but taxes should not have to increase as the federal government should be more financially responsible and not so lavish

 @96BFHSM from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

 @94DT8C6 from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

Taxes are a way for the government to fund things; however, I do not think Mayors, and Governors, and the Congress, Senates, President ( Vice President too ) should not have wages paid for by the people.

Majority of the people elected into those positions already have enough money (like Donald Trump) who can evade taxes and get away with it scott-free.

 @92VGPNB from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

 @927QDGBIndependent from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel that is it only fair that we should all be given the same amount of taxes no matter someone's income. It is only right and fair

 @8ZSCMDD from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Don’t raise them, but hold them to the same standard as everyone else.

 @8ZNWFYV from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, everyone should be taxed in proportion to the amount of money they make

 @8ZM4PSJGreen from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8XKTTS4 from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VLZJMW from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

No, and the size of the federal government should be reduced to accommodate the reduced income.

 @8VFWKHX from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Raise taxes on the wealthy to 94 percent. Eliminate loopholes and offshore accounts. Tax capital gains at a progressive rate going up to the same 94 percent.

 @8V39BGC from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but the money needs to be spent better and used for what it’s supposed to be used for

 @8TXXXQN from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TWYN9TRepublican from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but not until we close loopholes that allow the rich to avoid taxes otherwise it ends up falling on the middle class, and not raised to a ridiculous amount.

 @8TR5GV5 from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TKPXVG from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

It doesn't matter, because they face zero repercussions if they avoid paying them.

 @8T874SF from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but use Vertical Equity, increase taxes for the rich, lower taxes for the poor

 @8T77XYBRepublican from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8SXGVMXLibertarian from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Add a few of these together, remove all existing tax loopholes. Abolish income tax, we left England to get away from taxes only to become the same beast we fled from.

 @8S69MCK from Nebraska  answered…4yrs4Y

Remove tax loopholes for large corporations and the extremely wealthy. The extremely wealthy should be taxed more as well.

 @8RG3PJV from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, and remove tax loopholes for corporations so they can’t get away with paying the minimum for taxes.

 @8RDCPDZ from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Tax the rich and remove all existing tax loopholes while lowering income tax rate.

 @8R83BFH from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

No, because they worked for their money and if their taxes are raised and others aren't it's not fair for the rich.

 @8R32223 from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Remove the loopholes that allow the rich to evade taxes. "Trickle down" economics doesn't work.

 @8R2WHB4 from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

flat tax rate for people below x number, flat tax rate for people below y and so on

 @8QP7XYCDemocrat from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Increase taxes on the rich and remove all existing tax loopholes for large corporations; okay to provide tax incentives to help keep companies in America

 @8PVP63P from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, increase for the rich, but also remove the loopholes from large corporations and wealthy individuals.

 @8P4J2LC from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Follow the US Constitution we have deviated from it. It will take time to correct it so it'll take time.

 @8NS53DY from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8N5CCFJRepublican from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only by increasing the number of tax brackets taxpayers fall into

 @8JGS7TP from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8JGQQCR from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

I think they should lower taxes for the poor and only raise the taxes for the rich by a little bit

 @8JGNCDQ from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

They should increase it based on the amount of money they actually have and how much they are paying for their car(s), house, etc.

 @8HDRNF7 from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but change the tax brackets and change the amount depending on the population in that bracket

 @8HCW78Z from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

Close loopholes and and limit deductions then adjust tax rate accordingly

 @8H72X47 from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

The taxes should be based on all aspects of each persons stance in life, including social aspects.

 @8DPNGQMRepublican from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

No, taxation is theft. Overall, overhaul of the tax basis. Tax cuts for the middle class and reward those that work the hardest. Reduce government spending and control to reduce the taxation required for the unsustainable precedence that has transpired.

 @8CG8JJL from Nebraska  answered…5yrs5Y

 @9CXB4XF from Nebraska  answered…2yrs2Y

Reform to a flat tax for individuals and a minimally progressive rate for corporations/businesses and their shareholders.

 @99TCVDZ from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

Abolish the income tax and decrease federal funding all together. The government should only spend money on the military and infrastructure. Everything else can work much more efficiently privately funded.

 @99T6XQ5 from Nebraska  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, there should be a progressive income tax so that the rich pay more while the poor pay less in taxes.
