Should there be more or less privatization of veterans’ healthcare?

In 2019 the Trump administration proposed shifting billions of dollars from government-run veterans’ hospitals to private health care providers. The guidelines would make it easier for veterans to receive care in privately run hospitals and have the government pay for it. Veterans would also be allowed access to a system of proposed walk-in clinics, which would serve as a bridge between V.A. emergency rooms and private providers. Less. As it is our veterans do not have enough access to quality healthcare, and private providers prioritize profit over the lives of their patients. Veterans and everyone else should have access to 100% free healthcare, no exceptions. I don’t care if it’s public or private.

The government should pay for veterans' private health insurance, just as it does for other government employees, except veterans should be guaranteed this benefit for life.
