VA is really good for them, many of them were soldiers for many years, we should keep it, but maybe begin phasing it out.

We should invest in the VA and TRICARE to improve efficiency and quality of benefits and care, but also allow TRICARE to negotiate with private providers to allow veterans, active duty, and reserves to seek care that best fits their needs

More, and veterans are not given enough benefits in our country for the things they have been through.

Veterans should be able to access the nearest and best healthcare facility.

 @92K2FCTLibertarian from California  answered…3yrs3Y

More, veterans should be given vouchers proportional to their injuries and should be able to see any doctor of their choice.

 @8Z59YW2Libertarian from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

More, veterans should be able to see any doctor of their choice and we should increase funding to improve the current system as well

 @8Y7QTDHLibertarian from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

I feel the privatization is where is should be at for veterans. It shouldn’t be more or less.

 @8WY8N57Libertarian from Indiana  answered…4yrs4Y

More, veterans should be able to see any doctor of their choice and even improve the current system.

 @8VHZ9WQLibertarian from Maryland  answered…4yrs4Y

More, but veterans companies should give discounts to veterans. Any vets on Medicaid also deserve more.

 @8VFPHLVLibertarian from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

Veterans should be able to access the same health services they had access to when they were soldiers

More, and replace the VA with a Swiss-style, payroll funded private healthcare plan

 @8SPPZYZLibertarianfrom Maine  answered…4yrs4Y

Primarily privatized healthcare is good, but the military is one area that should always be national. This includes incentivizing people to join the military with benefits like paying for their healthcare.

Veterans should be able to get whatever healthcare they need. Free of cost.

 @8JDHXP6Libertarian from Connecticut  answered…5yrs5Y

This question needs a "other" Vets are free to use who they want. Most of them have other insurance. If you make a blanket law/rule that they all can use who ever they want just because a few don't have private insurance then it will burden the entire system. Maybe have a small budget to allow for people who are not getting anywhere with the VA Hospital. Maybe have a program where top Dr;s can volunteer at the VA.

More, veterans should have the option to see a private provider if the VA cannot adequately treat them

More. Abolish the VA and fund insurance programs that allow veterans to see the doctor of their choice.

Less, we should increase funding to improve the current system instead, but we should also let veterans determine their own healthcare needs

 @9BGZ7YKLibertarian from Idaho  answered…2yrs2Y

Veterans should have the opportunity to see whoever they want, but funding should also increase for the VA.

 @5JBLHDWLibertarian from Kentucky  answered…2yrs2Y

Regardless, we should switch to a statutory health insurance system, similar to one in France.

More, veterans should be allowed to see any doctor of their choice and replace the VA healthcare system with a personal health savings account.

 @9446422Libertarian from Michigan  answered…3yrs3Y

Veterans should be able to see any doctor, but the government should still pay for it.

 @8Q8837MLibertarian from Kentucky  answered…5yrs5Y

it should be either 100% government OR give them a stipend and let them buy in the regular market.

 @8P4X44RLibertarian from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

More. But only after the VA has reviewed the veterans medical status for disability rating purposes. The VA should act as insurance for the veteran with the government restricting prices that it can be charged by 3rd party hospitals. The VA should remain open at become a treatment center for specialized care unique to Veterans. Example would be burn pits or agent orange exposure.

 @8J8P59NLibertarian from Utah  answered…5yrs5Y

Less when a VA is near by and meets modern medical standards, more when a VA medical facility's distance makes care impossible/impractical or VA standards are subpar.

Veterans should only receive government sponsored care for service related healthcare issues
