Whilst I do believe the rich making more than $10,000,000 annually should be taxed fairly, I do not believe taxing the rich to reduce student loan interest is the resolution for unaffordable education. Affordable education requires more than repurposed taxes to change in order to pave a feasible path for student access and growth forward. There’s no reason a basic community college level education in the USA should compare in cost to a prestigious education at Oxford University in the uk.
