There is a difference between men and women, even if you people don't think so. Also, God Himself says marriage is only between a man and a woman. Marriage is supposed to represent the relationship between God (the man) and the church (the woman).

The issue with the Gad and Church analogy is that the church has no gender... therefore depending on your perspective the church and God could both be men...
