What I see of him looks pretty great, except the part where he thinks that vaccines cause autism. Now I have to decide how big a poison pill that is for me. I know that will taint his well for a lot of voters. It looks like he's the best not-Biden Democratic choice so far, nonetheless.

You’d be surprised the amount of truth behind the statement about autism. Watch some of the podcast he is in to hear more of why he believes what he does:)

Can you share a link?

As the mother of an Autistic son, spending 20 yrs advocating and educating myself, we need to first be willing to understand that over 95% of the so called experts have been persuaded in some way to support and perpetuate their "professional stance". Environmental factors and external components we ingest or are injected with ALL have consequences. If you search it out and remain open, you will find that RFK Jr. has done his homework.

Anything you put in your body can have an adverse reaction. Some people are even allergic to water. The thing with autism is that people who develop it after receiving a vaccine were already carriers for the genes, and were likely to develop it anyways. There is no mechanism within vaccines that can cause autism if the genes aren't present. But a bad reaction to the vaccine could trigger a dormant gene. But so could any sort of trauma. My dad's entire family has the genes for myasthenia gravis and rheumatoid arthritis. But the only person to develop them was my aunt, shortly after getting in a very serious car accident and which resulted in her mom dying in a car accident rushing to see her in the hospital. Trauma can triggerots of dormant things in our body.

I think that everyone can agree that more research could help, at the very least, put more people at ease

exactly!

COVID opened everyone's eyes to the so called "professional consensus"

Not only are there several small studies that show a link between Autism and vaccines but there has also been several court cases in which a vaccine/ vaccines have been ruled to be the cause of autisms in a child. The bigger problem is however that large studies especially placebo controlled trials have never been done and the pharmaceutical industry effectively blocks them from being done to understand the relationship between the two. This is the point that he stresses- we need to have better research on vaccines and end the conflicts of interest between our government agencies and the pharmaceutical companies. (I’m an RN btw)

He's not a democrat anymore, and his vaccine stances and free speech stances happen to be the only things I agree with him on

 @9CF2PBY from Texas commented…11mos11MO

He is electable, well-rounded, and has strong connections to succeed in the general election.

 @ImaginationStationDemocratfrom Arizona commented…11mos11MO

Do you think he can beat Biden in the primary?

 @9CX59SR from New Jersey commented…9mos9MO

Absolutely-! Without even delving into the depths of any issue, his ability to communicate accurately far exceeds Bidens.

 @HarmoniousWeaverfrom Maine agreed…9mos9MO

The establishment is trashing him with every chance they get.

RFK isn't "anti-vaccines."

He is advocating that vaccines are put to the same FDA testing standards as prescription drugs.

 @9GHDRT5 from Indiana commented…6mos6MO

I hope to god RFK Jr. wins. I agree with him on all major issues (except vaccination) He's the best shot our country has at being less corrupt.

 @9HXSGYC from Pennsylvania commented…4mos4MO

RFK's beliefs dont all line up with mine, but hes the only candidate on the ballot that is not bought by corporations. This fact alone, regardless of his policies, earns him my trust and my vote this November.

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…5mos5MO

He's 1000x times better than Biden (most people are) but he supports higher taxes, more social welfare programs, and other left-wing BS. I do, however, like what he has to say concerning vaccines and free speech, that's rare to see in a Democrat and refreshing as well

 @9KTCQG9 from South Carolina commented…2mos2MO

Foreign policy is where he differs for me. Bend a little here and there and i'm not opposed to him. Domestically, he's pretty strong in the idea of (and I know this is a crazy concept for DC) governing equally across the aisle. People are getting hung up on the vaccine thing. If that's the issue that decides how the country is run, we are truly screwed.

That's the problem with this. It's just hate the other side. He has a genuine vision for the middle of the road or as we call that...governing

You can't tell me with a straight face that Biden can cognitively be president for another 4 years. I do like some of Trump's polices but he's just too much of a loose cannon. People need to know that there is other options than the garbage that the two parties roll out every 4 years. I don't agree with every single thing that RFK Jr believes in, but I do agree with a lot. He's not here to divide us, he wants to unify us. I believe that's what we need the most right now

 @9FB36T5  from Texas commented…8mos8MO

I’m still on the fence about RFK, Jr. at this time. I don’t have faith or confidence in Biden, but I want to know more about RFK. He does have some issues that tend to mirror other politicians instead of honoring America and not party politics.

 @9FPPHL4Republican from Arkansas commented…7mos7MO

Some of the stances of RFK junior that are concerning:

He is pro-abortion which takes him out of the running for me.

He wants Americans to continue funding Planned Parenthood .

He wants to stop building the wall and increase military at the border yet he wants to decrease military spending which has already been decreased significantly. This doesn’t make sense especially with the current influx of thousands of illegal immigrants and the massive amounts of illegal drugs coming in daily. It also doesn't make sense to decrease military spending with the current situation with Russia and…  Read more

I agree with most of this, but can I ask why you don’t see any value in planned parenthood?
