he committed crimes and stood upon the country as if he did no wrong and got off with his wrong doing because he was the president but i think he should be held accountable just like anyone else.

 @9F83N26 from California agreed…8mos8MO

The president is authorized to de-classify and handle classified documents at his own discrection without needing approval from others. However, BIden had hundreds, maybe even thousands, of still classified documents in one of his homes.

 @9FF99Q4 from Utah agreed…8mos8MO

They try to get as much dirt on him as they can because they feel threatened by him whether the "dirt" is fake or real. They hide everything wrong that people do when they like that person.

 @9F7XW7TRepublican from Michigan agreed…8mos8MO

He has not been investigated of anything totally important to the case, it was just labeled "Classified documents" and could be anything the people don't know about.

 @9FDVZ7Wfrom Maine disagreed…8mos8MO

Trump should not be pardoned for mishandling classified documents because those have important classified information that could put the United States in danger if they got in the hands of the wrong person/country.

 @9FF83T9 from Texas disagreed…8mos8MO

well mr idc about your pronouns go look at hunter biden and joe biden they also had classified documents but the DOJ and FBI covered for them becuase of thier political stand point. You should also look at Hillery clinnton she also had classified documents in a laptop and the DOJ and the FBI AGAIN covered it up and Burned the evidence but we can stil trace those emails.

 @DemocratFredDemocratfrom Maine disagreed…8mos8MO

Oh, I see where this is going. So, we're tossing the rule book out the window and engaging in a good old 'Whataboutism' game. Alright, let's play. But first, let's clarify some things. The allegations against Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton are indeed serious, but they have been investigated. In fact, Clinton's case was subject to one of the most high-profile FBI investigations in recent history, with then-Director James Comey announcing just days before the 2016 election that the investigation had been reopened. Ultimately, no charges were filed.

Any document that has information about president is classified so why should he be charged with having documents about himself

 @9FGDJH9 from Utah disagreed…8mos8MO

Almost every single president that the USA has ever had, has done the same exact thing that Trump did. So, if we punish him, then we need to punish all former presidents.

 @9FBJC9P from Texas disagreed…8mos8MO

He has put a major risk to government security, which will be a federal prosecution for anyone of any position to tamper with.

 @9FFZ7GT from Ohio disagreed…8mos8MO

Trump should not be indicted because he was the president at the time so he was trying to do what's best

 @9F9SQP7 from California disagreed…8mos8MO

It is absurd and they dont want him winning. They do everythong in their power to destroy Trump. Trump is one of the best presidents theres been in a while.

 @9FDZW26 from New Jersey disagreed…8mos8MO

I believe that he should be elected as president and there doing everything they can to not make him president

 @9F9HZ6G from Virginia disagreed…8mos8MO

I mean bro has been caught RED HANDED he should not be allowed anywhere CLOSE to anymore legal documents or even allowed near the presidentcy

 @9F7RC5V from Nebraska disagreed…8mos8MO

He committed a federal crime, one of America’s founding principles is limited government, meaning that trump is not above the law and should be tried like everyone else.

 @9F5X92XSocialist from New York disagreed…8mos8MO

He committed crimes against this country and should not receive any leeway. He needs to be punished to the full extent of the law.

 @SugaryBaboonfrom Missouri agreed…8mos8MO

Your point hits the nail on the head! It's like when someone steals your lunch from the office fridge. If they're caught red-handed, we don't just pat them on the back and say "nice try, buddy". No, they face the music and, in this case, probably buy lunch for everyone for a week. So when we're talking about crimes against the country, why should it be any different? What do you think would be the right punishment, in a hypothetical world where we could choose?

 @9F7VM8H from Virginia agreed…8mos8MO

biden is now trying to stay in office by starting a war because that is the only way he can stay in the office.

 @9FDRS8H from Kansas disagreed…8mos8MO

He should be indicted and prosecuted for the crimes he is accused of. No one should be above the law, no matter what political positions they may have held.

 @9F9CGFG from California disagreed…8mos8MO

Just like any American citizen, we all abide by the law, and if you do not you commit a crime and put into jail. The same applies to a celebrity, family member, and former president. If found guilty, former President Trump should not be pardoned and put into jail. No matter your subjective opinion on the person, they need to be punished for what they committed.

 @9F8XHRY from Georgia disagreed…8mos8MO

Trump has literally stolen and hid classified documents from the US, he should be in jail for this because he could have given it to our enemies.

 @9F87DW7 from California disagreed…8mos8MO

he could have seriously affected every American citizen, and he should be treated as a normal citizen.

 @9F839TJDemocrat from California disagreed…8mos8MO

Like any other person, a former presidents shouldn't have more rights to than a normal person just because he has money and had a big title on hes name and should face the consequences for all crimes he made during and after hes term.

 @9F7NFLVPeace and Freedom from Pennsylvania disagreed…8mos8MO

No, he should not be pardoned just because he was a former president, doesn't mean he can break laws.

 @9FBSN28 from Indiana disagreed…8mos8MO

He has gotten away with too much for too long because of the single fact that he is a business tycoon and is a billionaire

 @9FB2SWT from California disagreed…8mos8MO

Trump clearly mishandled classified documents far more than Biden or Clinton. For christ's sake he shoved documents down the toilet.

 @9F9XDNP from Virginia disagreed…8mos8MO

We must set precedent that even a former President must conform to the law. The mishandling of classified documents puts literal millions at risk.

 @9F8JVZQ from Colorado disagreed…8mos8MO

Trump's problem is that he's never been held accountable for anything that he's done. Now that he's being tried he claims persecution. Accountability must feel like persecution to someone that's never been held accountable

 @9F7BJG7 from Oregon disagreed…8mos8MO

He could have seriously affected every American citizen, and he should be treated as a normal citizen.

 @9F9XQ35 from Illinois disagreed…8mos8MO

The Past President was caught lying abou having the documents but if he just said that they could search then nothing would have happened like this.

 @9F8D6RB from Nevada disagreed…8mos8MO

When presidents are pardoned it sets a precedent that other presidents can break the law and get away with it. Other presidents need to be held more accountable and although impeachment should not be common, when a president breaks the law and uses their power for nefarious purposes, they should be punished severely for it.

 @9FB39SLIndependent from Washington disagreed…8mos8MO

Do you believe that any individual should be considered above the law and able to break it free without recourse?

 @9F6DTZPProgressive from Colorado disagreed…8mos8MO

There is none, the evidence is pretty damning and any argument against this is due to inherent bias on the responder's part.

 @9F7GBSN from Michigan disagreed…8mos8MO

I believe the indictment that supports the evidence of wrong doings by Trump or authorized by him should proceed.

 @9F59ML9 from New York disagreed…8mos8MO

he brought classified documents outside of Washington after he was president and refused to fully cooperate with the FBI. he should face the consequences.

 @9FBW56TRepublican from Illinois disagreed…8mos8MO

He is no different then any other person tried, so he should be punished as much as any person would if they were found guilty.

 @9F9VM2Q from California disagreed…8mos8MO

Yes, President Trump should be pardoned for mishandling classified documents because it is his fault if he is found guilty he should be pardoned.

 @9F762N5 from New York disagreed…8mos8MO

Why should the president be pardoned if he committed a crime that affects the government and nation? If he does something illegal there should be rightful action taken accounted for.

 @9FG496S from Illinois disagreed…8mos8MO

he's not a crook like sleepy joe, what was found was planted so they could try to hinder his ability too run for president. What happend to all the "misplaced votes" for trump ? why were dead people voting for joe biden ? theres only one CROOK and its the **** er in office right now
