While I disagree with the Democrats on many issues, I still believe we’ve ought to work within the current system to take down the dominance of the main two parties. While holding votes away from Democrats may incite policy change from their end, I find it risky giving Republicans political dominance for so long, especially with where their policy has been trending throughout the last fifteen years. Ranked choice voting lets you pick your favorite parties while having the ‘at least they aren’t fascists’ party right before those you don’t like. I very much like tertiary parties, its just without ranked choice voting they are useless.
