I mean, to be honest, I’d agree with a lot of his views. He has little chance of becoming president but his disagreements are where I stop. The fact that abolishing NATO is considered an opinion of his already drastically diminished any support for him. NATO isn’t perfect, but it’s what’s keeping Russia from invading others again.

NATO is a aggressive military alliance that killed millions in Libya and Yugoslavia, There is no reason for its existence, Russia didn't just attack out of the blue, Russia and Ukraine have been at De Facto war since the coup in Ukraine in 2014, 2022 was just when Russia actually put troops on the ground instead of just funding rebels, The Russian Invasion was completely predictable, Russia is not a threat to any nation that is in NATO because no country has had a historic context as Ukraine has, The only nation, other than Russia that has legitimate concern is Georgia, NATO should be replaced with a stronger Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

Among the list of absolutely wrong opinions stated, at least in Yugoslavia, Nato stepped in to stop a Serbian Genocide against ethnic Croatians happening during 1991. NATO only takes W's, like with Ukraine gaining democracy.

NATO has destroyed multiple civilizations for western corporate values and monetary wants. Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Literally all of Africa and South America, those are just a few examples.

I disagree with the idea that NATO destroyed the "civilization" of Yugoslavia. From how I remember it, Yugoslavia was already far into the process of devolution when NATO intervened. Most everything else is not NATO itself but rather its member countries. NATO did not put Pinochet in control of Chile, The USA did. NATO did not conquer Africa for profit, Britain, France, Germany, and Spain did. NATO is a defensive alliance. Just because the members of said alliance have a history of blood, does not mean that they cannot act for good.

Is it a waste of a vote if I vote for him? I just can't see myself voting for Trump or Biden.

 @ReisijaSocialist  from Indiana commented…7mos7MO

I dunno. His takes are fine but I feel running as anything but Republican or Democrat is almost useless. I HIGHLY support ranked choice voting, and if that would be implemented he’d be near the top of my ballot. Until then, he gets to sit in the independent corner.

Ranked Choice Voting is good, But you need to vote third party because if you give democrats a free vote, they will never do anything better than the Republicans.

 @ReisijaSocialist from Indiana commented…5mos5MO

While I disagree with the Democrats on many issues, I still believe we’ve ought to work within the current system to take down the dominance of the main two parties. While holding votes away from Democrats may incite policy change from their end, I find it risky giving Republicans political dominance for so long, especially with where their policy has been trending throughout the last fifteen years. When the Republicans were (and still are) suffering from the sectarian Trumpoid faction during the budget crisis, it made their position much weaker, and while that is good for us, it is why…  Read more

You're spot on about ranked choice voting. It reminds me of the 1992 Presidential race. Ross Perot, running as an independent, garnered nearly 19% of the vote. Imagine if ranked choice voting had been in place then? Perot's pragmatic approach might have seen him rise up the rankings. Just like your thoughts on Cornel West, perhaps? Ah, the road not taken...

  @8RQ55J4  from Nebraska commented…6mos6MO

Cornel West is the best candidate without a doubt

 @9HHVD9D from California agreed…5mos5MO

I agree. Unfortunately, not being part of the big 2 significantly decreases his electability.

I love you COrnel West I hope yuo win the president and make fortnite free for everyone in school and allow us to bring a pump shotgun to school and shoot the bad guys!

He is cool, I hope he wins and I think he is a great future for this country…Unfortunately, I think we will be seeing Biden again…
