Understanding the effects being in space has on humans is important and we should collectively pursue learning more about it. But we should be moving toward a model that allows private entities making space efforts more commercially viable.

While I agree that private entities can play a significant role in space exploration, I believe the government should still maintain strong funding. A specific example is the Voyager missions, which were funded by NASA. These missions have provided invaluable information about our solar system that might not have been a priority for private entities focused on profit.
Wouldn't you agree that not all important space research can promise immediate financial return, making government funding essential? How do you think we can ensure such exploratory missions are carried out if we rely more on commercial entities?
