The governments job is to serve the people, leaving homeless people on the street is far from its job. Most homeless people are homeless because of circumstances out of their control. Them being homeless prompts them to commit crimes simply to provide for themselves, which is a saddening thing at best. Give them resources to get off the street and back to their own autonomy, something that so many in america lack.
