I really wonder what a conviction of Trump would do. He could still win the primary election, but I doubt he would win the general election. I hope the decision comes before the election, like most Americans do. As for DeSantis, maybe he was doomed from the start because he's running in 2024 while Trump is and not 2028, I dunno. For now, I'd like people to still look into other candidates.

Agreed, it seems as id the DeSantis campaign was set up to be the front runner in the wrong year.
