I think there should be a restriction on buying guns because along with criminals and mentally ill people, a lot of people should not have a gun. There should be a way more thorough look at people and there should be tests and more regulation for buying a gun.

There are restrictions about buying/possessing a gun, for example you must have a psychological examination on file before buying one. You must also have permitt. It is not the dealers fault what the people do with those guns.
