Firstly, even this source you linked explicitly states that the most significant part of the debate was simply "because the UNFCCC did not define pre-industrial when setting the targets".
Secondly, are you genuinely using this single debate over the semantics of a single estimate to attempt to undermine the additional mountain of evidence to support anthropogenic climate change..? This one thing turned you into a climate denying conspiracy theorist?
@RightistVictoria9mos9MO
If the earths getting warmer, what are you predictions for the annual increase in temp between now an 2123 (per year?)
@VulcanMan6 9mos9MO
I do not have any legitimate predictions because I am not a climate scientist. However, according to the most recent source I could find (this year): "Based on policies and actions in place as of November 2022, the global temperature increase is estimated to reach a median of 2.7 degrees Celsius in 2100. In the best-case scenario, where all announced net-zero targets, long-term targets, and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are fully implemented, the global temperature is still expected to rise by 1.8 degrees Celsius, when compared to the pre-industrial average."
