Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Monday fired off a letter to President Joe Biden about an “untenable” migrant crisis in the state, calling for an overhaul to the system and blasting the White House for a “lack of intervention and coordination at the border.”
Pritzker, a Democrat, said the state’s resources were beyond strained after Texas officials bused more than 15,000 migrants to Illinois in the past year.
“Unfortunately, the welcome and aid Illinois has been providing to these asylum seekers has not been matched with support by the federal government,” Pritzker wrote. “Most critically, the federal government’s lack of intervention and coordination at the border has created an untenable situation for Illinois.”

People in IL are concerned for the disenfranchised in South Chicago among so many other areas. Talked to a friend. We all need to forget Trumpism, get MAGA outta Congress, cross the aisle to stop the dip **** ery, work on a plan that is humane and safe for all. No fkn wall
Absolutely amazing how quickly Democratic governors and mayors went from "The Statue of Liberty weeps at those who want to limit immigration -- this is not who we are" to "Biden must do more to stop immigrants immediately!" as soon as it was their towns and state affected.

Since the beginning of this, the Sanctuary State and Sancturary City policies have been Nullification. That is a huge red flag, as State and local Nullification have their roots in some really, really bad Post-Civil-War history.
