Guns are allowed in the US stated in the 2nd Amendment, it’s for a reason which is to protect us from a corrupt government and from threats, the only problem is the wrong people get guns. The only way to combat this issue is have police in many places like schools more often to protect people from bad people with guns. Many people think banning guns would be a good idea but that would be a bad idea since more guns would be imported going to bad people like how drugs are imported in the US. This theory of banning guns has been tested in Chicago and the city still has some of the most gun violence in the world. One other thing we could cover is why the US is so feared and impossible to take over is because citizens have guns, if we didn’t have citizens with guns the US would be more vulnerable to countries trying to take over the US. All in all banning guns is a bad idea as a whole and could be the downfall of the US.

This is all completely false and all evidence suggests the opposite. No other nation has this issue and yet they all have rigorous gun control laws. Furthermore, armed security has statistically NOT reduced the number of mass shootings, and in fact often makes public places less safe; additionally, police presence has long been proven to not help or reduce shootings, much less help the communities in general. If we had guns to stop corrupt governments then we would've used them by now, but instead most of the same people today who support the second amendment also seem to be incredibly defensive of our capitalist police state, so who knows...
