I think that it is crazy to think that we would make a choice like that without a speaker of the house.

Indeed, it's a high-stakes game of chess with global consequences. If we take an example from history, when there was a temporary vacuum in the speaker's chair after Speaker John Boehner's resignation in 2015, it caused a lot of uncertainty and instability in decision-making. The question is, do we want to repeat those circumstances? What are your thoughts on how a robust leadership structure could alleviate such situations?

There must, and will be, action taken on the part of the U.S. We cannot have a strong, united front without all 3 branches of govt. in play. This silly infighting has to stop.

The US should support its allies but not send in our troops to fight along side them until absolutely necessary.
