Giving them a tool to take lives won't help their condition. Better allocation of public funds would fix a majority of the schools problems. Also creating a consensus where teachers can make decisions on how to improve the curriculum and improve the schools environment for themselves and students is key to making a better system. Public accountability and democratic governance is paramount.
Giving them guns is going to be used as an opportunity for the arms industry for nearly unlimited government contracts to mass produce them, citizens already outnumber the amount of firearms compared to the military.
