The White House and some key lawmakers had been discussing linking Ukraine and Israel aid.
Officials in President Joe Biden's administration have privately told lawmakers that the White House is preparing a supplemental funding request to submit to Congress that includes money for Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan and U.S. border security, according to two congressional officials, an administration official and a defense official.

I think that the US should be careful where they choose to get involved, especially when it comes to the Middle East - No military aid should be given, only funding as of now. I do not support diverting important funds to Israel, however, and if this happens, I think the outcome will be negative.

pretty reasonable and I agree, the funding on Israel is more necessary than Ukraine, as Ukraine have made mistakes in their decision.
