Critical race theory is insanely complicated; I find that in my youth, simply acknowledging the past conflicts between races in the past; and teaching why some treatments are BAD, was enough to keep me respectful of other cultures, and not trying to create a "unity". No one should be "racially colorblind" because that's just insensitive and can lead to cultural appropriation. That being said, we shouldn't base everything based on Race, either (just respect culture, and not try and pretend nothing happened).
