One of the better-polling Republican presidential candidates said on Monday that withdrawing the U.S. from NATO was a “reasonable idea” and that he was “reevaluating” whether America should remain a member of the United Nations.
POLITICO asked Vivek Ramaswamy, the entrepreneur polling fourth nationally and in Iowa, about a Rolling Stone article detailing how the GOP frontrunner, former President Donald Trump, was open to taking the U.S. out of the transatlantic military alliance. He answered by supporting the notion, but didn’t commit to following through if he were elected president.

US should not pull out of NATO because it keeps relationships with other nations in peace, and maintains connections with other nations for military, and economical purposes.

I don't really care about any of the news topics.
So if America got attacked again ( like it did on 9/11) Ramaswarmy wouldn’t want other allies to come to its defence?
Would it also mean that the US would have to cough up with a much larger military budget to cover things that other NATO allies already do!

The U.S. has had nothing to do with the Israel conflict, and the U.S. has a severe risk for being put into danger as a result of terrorist attacks. It seems reasonable to be able to pull out of NATO so that we don't have to be directly involved with the conflict and be at risk.
