Not only is it completely irrelevant what faith the founding fathers did or did not have, but they also believed in a separation of church and state, so even if you accept their beliefs then it means you have to accept that your religion cannot be applied to laws regardless...

Separation of Church and State is not in our Constitution. It was cherry-picked out of ONE Thomas Jefferson letter where he argued that government should not *INTERFERE* with churches, not that Churches should not wield influence over policy, or that faith doesn't have a place in government.

The basic law of the land was written by an avowed anti-Christian named Thomas Jefferson who is known for the Jeffersonian Bible that removed all instances of divinity from the Bible. Go pick one up at your favorite book store.

The Jeffersonian Bible did away with the miracles. This is wrong, but it still maintained the teachings of the original Word.
