Our support to Israel is currently funding a Palestinian genocide

Israel is absolutely not defenseless without our aid; they already have one of the most advanced and well-trained militaries in the region, and they have been using it against Palestinians for decades now. Hamas is infinitely less of a threat to them than the Israeli state is to Palestine. Not to mention that Hamas is a radical revolutionist group defending itself against their decades-long oppressors; their goal is violent liberation, not genocide. The genocide has been coming from the Israeli side, against Palestinians, but it has never been the other way around, nor has there ever been any…  Read more reason to assume it will be the other way around. It is a similar argumentative tactic that white supremacists have used for millennia, this idea that other groups must continue to be oppressed because their liberation would somehow mean oppression in the opposite direction. It is a ridiculous and dangerous assumption of "reverse-racism".
