Murder is unlawful and unfounded killing. Abortion is not murder, it is killing. It is not unlawful (up to a certain point), because the FETUS is a zygote, an unfeeling and merely potential life form. It can’t feel anything, or think anything for a long time until it is nearly self-reliant. Is it human? Sure, about as human as one’s toenails or skin, but it isn’t sentient until far further into the pregnancy, and as the vast majority of abortions are done long before the fetus is even capable of thought, those ones are not immoral.
