Ukraine isn't losing because of Russian military superiority - it's losing because NATO was never interesting in winning.
It's an important distinction because it shows how out-of-touch Ukraine hawks in the media are with political reality.

Yes and no. Yes on the humanitarian side of things but no for their own personal gain of more countries to join their group.

Yes -- Ukraine is a democratic country invaded by an authoritarian country. NATO must support Ukraine and help it win peace and stability for its sovereign borders.
