A lead negotiator in the hostage talks says women and children will be released over four days, "moving to the safe side, away from this war."
Qatar’s lead negotiator in the Israel-Hamas hostage talks has shared further details of the deal, saying the releases will happen “systematically.”
Along with Egypt and the U.S., Qatar helped mediate negotiations which have secured a four-day cease-fire and the return of 50 captives from each side of the conflict.
“So we managed to get the parties to agree on the releases systematically. In other words, there will be an organized schedule allowing the releases each day, and each party is quite familiar now with their obligations,” Mohammed al-Khulaifi said, adding that a “minimum of 10″ hostages will be released on the first day of the truce.

It is underappreciated how influential and positive Qatar's role has been in international peace building in recent history. Its a tiny country that has taken on this role in global politics that many bigger countries shun.

It is a carved out State just like the others in the Gulf and houses one of the largest US military bases. The entire region is “managed” for the purposes of competing narratives.

Any hostage release will help bring this conflict to a close, hopefully resulting in the destruction of Hamas and the institution of a new, moral, and democratic Palestinian state if possible, or the unfortunate but necessary occupation by Israel until such a time where a new government can be created
