Should the government require children to be vaccinated for preventable diseases?
How do you think historical diseases that are now preventable have influenced our current attitudes…
Now, people are choosing not to vaccinate their children because their limited experience, likely as a vaccinated adult, has demonstrated to them that there are no deadly diseases. This, coupled with politicians and the media providing a podium for those with unsubstantiated claims of links to autism and other debilitating or deadly consequences, has lead to a population believing that the danger lies within the solution and not in the world around us. Until we can retake control of the narrative around vaccines, there is unlikely to be any civil discourse that can change the stance of those who have planted their flags.
