So Rishi Sunak had bullied and cajoled MP's to back his Rwanda plan. Now it's got to get through the Lords. Then get through the courts, then the High court, then the supreme court, then the ECHR, then the UN Then past the loons occupying the planes and airport.

So it might happen, at some point, but not for a VERY long time, if ever. By then Sunak will have his trotters up in the US, relaxing on a beach somewhere.

Exactly. This is another official illusion. Sunak knows this will not achieve any significant deportation numbers, just as long as it looks as if they are doing something. He has no skin in the game and will be USA bound before long.

Sounds like a distraction to me. Just long and complicated enough to take us through to the general election with no discernable results.

Rishi Sunak tied himself to a millstone which is rolling towards the cliff edge. It's going too slowly somebody give it a push!

What are your thoughts on the idea that sending asylum seekers to Rwanda could deter dangerous journeys across the English Channel?

Do you believe the UK's plan to send immigrants to Rwanda respects human dignity and why?
