A Ukrainian councillor threw hand grenades into a meeting on Friday injuring 26, according to national police.
The terrifying incident took place about 90 minutes into a live-streamed meeting at the Keretsky Village Council in Ukraine’s Western Zakarpattia region Friday.
Shocking footage posted to Telegram shows a man dressed in black calmly walking into the meeting during a heated debate. He was later identified as Deputy of the Keretsky Village Council Serhiy Batryn, according to the Ukrainian Pravda news outlet.
The parliamentarian is a part of Volodymyr Zelensky's Servant of the People party. The video shows him asking "May I speak?" before removing at least three hand grenades and tossing them into the room.

I think there was complete and total confusion going on. Their brains couldn't process what was going on.
If he threw the grenades then ran out, the first reactions would have been to run. It was the fact that he stood there after throwing them that bamboozled everyone.
