In some cases the President has to pretend he's a mob boss. Dealing with people like Netanyahu is one of those cases.

But they're right.

The October 7th attack can't have positive results for the Palestinians, it incentives terror attacks, and thus death and destruction on both sides.

There'd be a far more unified and powerful pro-peace message if it was "remove Hamas and then you're either going to negotiate a 2SS or we're recognizing Palestine and imposing one." The 2008 Olmert agreement is so close to what any ultimate 2SS would be.
