it's such a coincidence that a large percentage of the last handful of lottery winners were sold in CA, too. Just weird that they brought in close to a billion in taxes from lotto winnings in the last year.

That actually may be cheaper than what is happening now.

Most people don't know this, but the federal government is unconstitutionally funding programs and regimes in Central America as we speak. And what the funding is going to is much more terrifying and disturbing than socialised healthcare (which is saying a LOT). Rather than a confederated Republic of thirteen independent and autonomous sovereign States, we've become an international busybody and global policeman whose Governors, living in delusions of utopia and Empire, have wrapped their tentacles on regimes across the world, funding proxy wars that prolong human suffering at the…  Read more expense of American citizens. To fix this, we must end ALL foreign aid (no exceptions) instantly, withdraw from the UN and other international "entangling alliances" and pursue a policy of peace and neutrality, or else we will meet the same fate every empire in world history, with zero exceptions, has faced – BANKRUPTCY AND COLLAPSE.

And how is respecting the independence of other nations by not intervening in their affairs, ceasing to finance an international empire in a time of unprecedented debt, and ending shipments of fiat currency that prolong hopeless wars, human suffering, and bloodshed, in any way, shape, or form, a bad idea? Thoughts?

WW2 comes to mind. When America goes isolationist, the worst of world powers come out to cause more suffering instead. China wouldn’t hold back if we stopped intervening. Taiwan would be there’s, BRICS would expand, your fears of “Socialism” might be realized, America would be overpowered by a tidal wave of outside influences and enemies. Ceasing our conflicts leaves them open, just as the world was before WW2 when we decided to look deep inward and nowhere else. It’s a bad plan, and don’t even get me started on leaving the UN.

With all due respect, Russia vs. Ukraine isn't a good-vs-evil battle like WWII. Russia, sure, is evil, but Ukraine isn't much better. Zelensky has banned eleven opposition political parties and destroyed an entire religious denomination in the pursuit of power. The vast majority of funds going to his government, are lining the pockets of him and his officials, not funding military operations.

And when did we get involved in WWII? When we were directly attacked. And that's the only condition upon which I'll ever agree to any war. If we rack up trillions more in debt, are we the stronger for it? Is it responsible to leave this for our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to pay off? We are swindling future generations for the sake of imperialist delusions.
