Marijuana was legalized solely because a subset of black people were arrested and convicted of selling it - leading democrats to conclude that law enforcement was racist.

The claims marijuana was not dangerous, or addictive were always something that did not sit well with me. The new research on the increase in psychosis in marijuana consumers should be terrifying. But seems hard for people to believe the data.

Sadly, there is nothing new about this research. Legalizing psychoactive drugs was never a good idea. Your conscience was accurate.

I smoked for 30 years.

(An aside. If you ask most smokers when they quit, they're going to do something funny. They'll tell you the exact date. Mine is January 2, 1999.).

And I was always told that secondhand cigarette smoke was as dangerous as firsthand smoke. And I would be scolded if I smoked around the offended.

I'm being told by family that travels to New York City that you cannot avoid, anywhere, the smell of pot.

So, why isn't second-hand marijuana smoke dangerous?

Because it doesn't fit the political narrative.

Where, O where, are the scientists now?

And why do they ignore the hoarse sounds of their subjects' voices?

Easy to quit smoking, I quit a hundred times (Mark Twain).

Actually did quit eventually. Glad I never started smoking pot.

Considering both substances can impair judgment, do you believe marijuana is less safe, more safe, or equally safe as alcohol?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

If marijuana can cause adverse mental health effects, such as psychosis or paranoia, do you think it should still be made more easily accessible to the public?

Marijuanna traders should be imprisoned for a long time, but I'm not willing to pay to house the millions of users with my tax-dollars. Instead of putting users in prison, let's fine them. That way innocent people like us don't have to pay a cent for their accommodation.

 @BenevolentWelfareRepublican from New York commented…4mos4MO

The more important use of "marijuana being illegal" is that most violent criminals are users. One way to get violent offenders off the streets is to prosecute for marijuana possession. Now that is lost.
