Many muslim are furious that a president they saw as an ally has unwaveringly backed Israel in a military campaign that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and, in their view, shown scant empathy for the dead, wounded and displaced.
In November, he received the news he had been dreading: 30 members of his extended family had been killed by an Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp. He began to look at the list of names of those killed but couldn’t make it past the first one.
“The first name was so familiar,” Enayah said, his voice breaking as tears streamed down his face. “I just put it aside and I said, ‘I don’t want to read it.’ But to honor them, I had to. It took me a week just to go through the names.”
It is for that reason that Enayah, like many Arab American and Muslim voters in Dearborn — where Arab Americans make up the majority of the population — is resolved not only to withhold his vote from President Biden, but also to actively campaign against him. Some Michigan Arabs and Muslims have launched an “Abandon Biden” campaign — part of a broader national movement still getting off the ground — to ensure that those in their community show up to cast their votes, but not for Biden.
In interviews with more than two dozen Arab and Muslim voters across Dearborn, many of whom have lost loved ones during the war, common themes emerged in what angered them about Biden’s response.
-Nearly every voter cited Biden stating that Hamas had beheaded babies, a claim for which there has bee… Read more

"Pro-Palestinian organizers say...."
They're not pro-Palastinian. They're pro-Hamas.
Supporting Palastinians means dismantling the terrorist (so designated by the State Department) HAMAS network and bringing its leaders to justice for the crimes they have perpetrated against Gaza, Israel, and humanity.

Israel has already paid the price.
Israel has already been branded a "bad guy" by the American left, democrats and silently Biden. And, the rest world has looked at the harm to only one side of the innocents.
Israel must complete its goal of eliminating Hamas. Stopping now will only leave Israel branded and still further subject to Hamas's terror.
Better to complete the task of eliminating Hamas and be branded; than just be branded and still subject to Hamas terrorism.
Let' just hope the harm to innocent on either side can be avoided as much as possible.
No more hyphenated Americans.
Either you are one, or you are not. Choose one or the other.

America is a county of immagrants. The preponderance of us all have roots from somewhere else, but only certain groups have chosen or are labeled, inappropriately, as hyphens. By way of example, the vast majority of African Americans are generations removed from Africa. They, their parents and grand-parents and maybe even great, grand parents were all born in the states.... so what about them is African?

By the way. They also did not choose to come here but were rather ripped from their homes to come and work in our plantations as slaves. Or has that been ripped from your history books.
@TranquilQuorumRepublican4mos4MO
4% of slaves on the American continent resided in the Colonies. Africans played a big part in the slave trade. Slavery was practiced world wide, and still is. Many of us probably have ancestors who were slaves at some point in their lives. It is time for blacks to move on. Victimhood does nothing to promote happiness and well being. It only enslaves them once again in their "victim status".

because they developed a unique culture that was based on the fact that they were marginalized in this country for well over 200 years. Being segregated and labeled produces adaptions. Brown v. Board of Education was in 1954. Jim Crowe laws continued through the 1960s. That's not that long ago.
"Symone Sanders Townsend, a former Biden senior adviser, who sympathizes with some of the aims of the protesters, called the church “hallowed ground” in a post on X. “The shock of people in the crowd at protesters yelling out while President Biden was speaking from the pulpit cannot be overstated. I too couldn’t believe it,” she said. "
That's because the mindset of the hamas-USA protestors is a totalitarian mindset. If you are not with them, you are against them. If you do not act and think exactly as they do, you are their enemy, Ms. Townsend.

Women’s rights bug you?
The Democrats are worried about not siding with a terror group that committed acts of unspeakable barbarism, not to mention UN staffers joining them, and are worried that Biden is still supporting Israel. Tells us all we need to know that the Democrats are again on the wrong side of history, morality and certainly foreign policy to safeguard our nation. When have we ever had any good result from supporting terrorists?
