He also once again brags that he increased funding to NATO.
Trump also says he's the only candidate who will prevent World War III.

That's not possible. Even if the entire political establishment in US/EU somehow gets on board (itself an impossibility), there won't be a peace deal due to Ukraine/Russia priorities and interests.

Not yet. They just passed the law that denies passport services at embassy without military registration. Which means military age men hiding abroad will have their visas invalidated.
They will fight to the last Ukrainian, and Russia is fine with it. So 2 more years or so.

That approach would also be consistent with what he did in power (arming Ukraine, expanding NATO, pressuring EU to increase military spending) but you won't see the factual version of Trump discussed much among either his opponents or supporters. They prefer the fantasy version

No Trump said NATO should pay, while pointing out how it's not equal and the U.S. always pays more for everything.
Trump said he would negotiate to end the war quickly.
Trump sounds like he wants to get out of NATO too.
