Completely expected. I don't see how they could have reached a different decision. All of this was a delaying tactic by Trump's team.

Why has the prosecution of Hunter been stretched for five years? Why is the prosecution of Biden’s stealing of secret documents proceeding at only one-third the pace of Trump’s?

The different pace of prosecution makes the prosecution about speech not crimes. “Your speech is not favored by us.” Government may not infringe speech in any way including by prosecutorial choices of prosecution or by differing paces of prosecution.

Because Hunter didnt try and overthrow an election in order to make himself president?

No surprise here. The goal was never to win the argument. The goal was always to delay delay delay.

In fact, his lawyers are not arguing his innocence at all.

This is because there are no witnesses or evidence for the defense.

So, all they can do is delay and try to get him off on far fetched technicalities like immunity.

The left's primary goal was not to win but tie Trump up in knots and make him spend money in the process. What has become abundantly clear is that democrats won't hesitate to do the very same thing to anyone who disagrees with their idiotic autocracy. That is exactly why Trump's popularity increases daily, especially among those who don't work for the federal government or who fancy themselves above the unwashed.

Correction: The Left's primary goal is to see people they hate accountable for crimes, while ignoring even violent crimes of people they like.
