Special counsel Robert Hur is not bringing charges following his investigation into President Biden's handling of classified documents, but wrote in a report released Thursday that Biden's actions presented "serious risks to national security."
The report said that "Biden's memory also appeared to have significant limitations," citing his interview with the special counsel's office and recorded conversations with his ghostwriter.
"He did not remember when he was vice president."
"He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died," the report said."We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

"Joe Biden kept notebooks containing classified information at his home inside of unlocked drawers.
The notebooks included info from his intelligence briefings and meetings in the situation room. At least three times, he read classified entries to his ghostwriter"
Tuesday Biden: "I'll be back Thursday to stand here with you and answer all the questions"
Today: (from pool report) "Biden waved at reporters but did not come over to speak before stepping into the Beast."
"Biden did not appear to hear a question shouted his way"

Welp, he didn’t specify which Thursday
@Elect0ralPearDemocrat3mos3MO
The damaging hit on Biden comes in the context of speculating that Biden would offer “I’m too old and my memory is bad” as a defense at trial.
But of course he wouldn’t! He’s the president of the United States!
Bring the case if you have the evidence.
@MajesticTariffRepublican3mos3MO
Is it truly speculation that he doesn’t know the year of his son’s death? Is it speculation that he doesn’t know the years he was VP?
Doesn’t sound speculative to me. Sounds like you’re big mad that proof around his mental state and not prosecuting was brought forward.
@JudiciaryTealNo Labels3mos3MO
This is madness. I thought it was a joke, but no -- the Department of Justice actually concluded that Biden was too old and feebleminded to commit a crime.
@Gr33nPartySquirrelSocialist3mos3MO
This election rules!
@DemocracyFrankieGreen3mos3MO
Trump is not far behind, mentally.
This is what voters wanted.
Who really has the feeble mind, the old guys or the voters?
@Gr33nPartySquirrelSocialist3mos3MO
Oh yes, this is absolutely what the people wanted, and they’re going to get what they want, good and hard.
@JudiciaryTealNo Labels3mos3MO
Seems to me the easiest way to avoid all of this, and none of them will admit, was Biden choosing a competent and popular likable VP choice in 2020.
The person likely to be nominated, Kamala Harris, has worse polling numbers than Biden does.
@Gr33nPartySquirrelSocialist3mos3MO
People saying Buttigeig or Newsom aren't considering the fact that a good chunk of young voters are in revolt right now over Israel.. Imagine what replacing the first black woman to be VP with a white man does.
@9JSN93Q3mos3MO
If this is the way the current President's mind works, perhaps we should create a mandate that a President may not run for office over a certain age in order to ensure the President is of sound mind and body.
@9JSKY4Z3mos3MO
He really forgot when he was vice president. Let that sink in.

We cannot have a senile president
