As Navalny would speak, and one could almost dare to dream that a different Russia could exist. It's a country with tremendous resources, a hard-working people, and endless corruption that enriches only the connected. Russia's been that way for hundreds of years. Navalny fought the good fight, talking about rights of the people, fairness, and democracy. The dictator had to make him go-- there was an election to steal & the people were getting too hopeful. Know this-- Putin hates America for its freedom because he knows if the Russian people understood it was real-- then they would never put up with "the system" in Russia.

And Trump thinks he can make deals with this guy Putin? What a joke.

 @ExecutiveOatmealPeace and Freedom from Colorado commented…4mos4MO

Obama made deal with ayatollahs, he was praised for that. Are they better?

 @ImportedKittenDemocratfrom Virgin Islands commented…4mos4MO

Reagan send arms to Iran...and who were in charge of running Iran? Pope Francis?

 @ExecutiveOatmealPeace and Freedom from Colorado commented…4mos4MO

Yep, so our two mortal enemies can fight each other, while Obama policies just strengthen Iran.

 @PlayfulJ0intResolLibertarianfrom Pennsylvania commented…4mos4MO

I'd think he could do better fighting Russia outside of Russia.

 @QuicheAndyGreen from Texas commented…4mos4MO

On the contrary, Navalny knew full well that his death (which he deliberately exposed himself to by returning to Russia after Putin's attempt to poison him) will inspire hope and pride in the Russian people and will help unite a fractious West against Putin. Putin can get away with murdering a criminal like Prigozhin, but he has met his match in a hero like Navalny. Mark my words, Putin is going down.

 @GnuGaryDemocrat from Washington agreed…4mos4MO

Navalny was a courageous voice of dissent against Putin's kleptocracy. He could have stayed quiet and lived a life of leisure in the U.S. or western Europe. Time will tell if his efforts were in vain, that will be up to the Russian people. What is beyond dispute is that Putin is scum.

Tucker Carlson praised Russian supermarkets. Oh, right, Hitler built nice highways.

 @CuriousViperDemocrat from Wisconsin commented…4mos4MO

This is why Ukraine fights. They know Russia and they want a different life and country. We should stop dithering and support them.

 @L1bertyEmmaLibertarian from Massachusetts disagreed…4mos4MO

no one supported the Taliban, yet they defeated the US. The Ukraine should win or lose based on its own efforts

 @CuriousViperDemocrat from Wisconsin commented…4mos4MO

The important thing to remember is that an American President should trust Putin's assurances over the assessments of all of the US national security and defense agencies -- because Putin is "a genius." In fact, it would be good if an American President would encourage Russia "to do whatever the hell they want" to NATO countries that spend less than 2% of their GDP on defense -- because the US has no particular interest in whether the countries of Europe are attacked by Russia. If this happens, we can always just close our eyes and ignore it.

 @L1bertyEmmaLibertarian from Massachusetts commented…4mos4MO

No, you missed the part Putin being genius cause he attacked when somebody like Biden was in the office.

The afghans didn't fight for themselves. No wonder the taliban are still there.

 @LeftLaneLilyRepublicanfrom Pennsylvania commented…4mos4MO

Exactly.

Ukraine knows only brutality, oppression and subjugation awaits them if Russia wins.

They have no other choice but to fight.

Can economic pressure by one nation truly influence the behavior of another nation's government, and do you believe this is a fair strategy?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How might imposing major sanctions on a country for human rights violations impact the way you view justice on an international scale?

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…4mos4MO

"Excessive partiality for one foreign nation [Ukraine] and excessive dislike of another [Russia], cause those whom they actuate [the Neocons & Democrats] to see danger only on one side, and serve to veil and even second the arts of influence on the other. Real Patriots, who may resist the intrigues of the favorite, are liable to become suspected and odious; [think of all the hell the mainstream media is giving the evil "MAGA REPUBLICANS"] while its tools and dupes [the military-industrial complex, defence contractors, weapons manufacturers, and politicians getting rich off of bloodshed]Read more
