I don’t know what to say, man. Your real life experience is not representative of Ghana’s values. It’s a different society. The world stage has gotten smaller. You don’t have to visit Ghana for your vitriol to affect real Ghanaians.

My life experience may align with that of Ghana, no. But those are exact same things I've been hearing my whole life. "We have different values from the rest of the world, a different society" and yes you are a different culture, but underneath, we all bleed the same.

Yes we do! And as a people, we should respect other nations’ sovereignty and ability to enact the will of its citizens. You may not like it, but it’s not up to you. We are similar in many ways and absolutely different in others and that’s okay. The world doesn’t owe us anything.

Someone need a hankie? Sure looks like it! No one is going to SUFFER because of this law – people are just going to be forced not to participate in abominable and amoral behaviour. They can scream and rant and snivel and pout all they want about it, but in the end no one gives a d*mn about their emotions.
