How is killing babies a “protection”?

I think there’s a disconnect.

 @TreatyVictoriaSocialist from California disagreed…2mos2MO

A zygote, blastocyst or fetus is not a baby.

There's potential, albeit messy, that a fetus becomes a baby.

A fetus transitions to a baby, therefore a sui generis homo sapien, upon exiting the birth canal.

Demonstrably false. From the point of conception, the new life is a baby. He/she is a separate individual than his/her mother. Science.

how is it separate if it still lives in and feeds off the birthing person? plus, there's no brain, nothing going on with a fetus. it's basically nothing until much later in the growth process.

Alright, "Fart_Smeller68" – let's logically examine your arguments, and discuss some highly disturbing moral implications it brings about. Number 1:

How is it separate if it still lives in and feeds off the birthing person?

First off, I'd like to share something exciting about the English language with you – the great ancient word "mother." It's actually been used for (get this!) thousands of years to describe women, who give birth to babies, because women are the only people who give birth to babies. It's your lucky day – instead of humiliatingRead more

I love reading the Move to France posts of people because France codified abortion rights into law. Yet these same people ignore that France allows abortion to be legal up to 14 weeks - which is more restrictive than a vast majority of the US

 @ThrilledLobbyGreen from Washington D.C. disagreed…2mos2MO

Yes but you can always and forever get one up until 14 weeks which I think is fair

 @CapitalistSophiaConstitutionfrom North Carolina disagreed…2mos2MO

You might think that’s fair but a lot of people who favor legal abortion in the US, would throw a fit if there was a ban after 14 weeks. They fought to allow partial birth abortion

France has a better record of protecting women than the US. France

  @Patriot-#1776Constitution from Washington commented…2mos2MO

US has a better record of protecting female unborn children who will become women.

Another win for the Marxist Death Cult – but never forget, lovers of liberty, the Great Victory we won in 2022 with the Dobbs decision – the thousands of babies we've saved since then. They want to keep us discouraged, but remember this is the moral battle of a lifetime – we either stand for Life, unconditionally, or for the Holocaust of the Unborn.

This decisive action marks a vital progression in the struggle for women's independence and control over their own bodies.

Do you believe that enshrining abortion as a constitutional right impacts society positively or negatively, and why?
