To what extent should a nation go to defend its allies or interests in foreign conflicts, especially when civilians are harmed?

Why isn't the U.S. helping Ukraine? Russia is obviously communist so why doesn't someone just kill him and the war will be over?

We should defend allies when civilians are being attacked.

We have an obligation as humans to help those people who are suffering injustices in any part of the world. Particularly when those injustices are causing a decrease in quality of life, genocide, fear, etc.

We need to protect personal interests in the US before we worry about our allies or foreign conflicts. Leave Ukraine and Israel, they are being used as propaganda to money launder and benefit our globalists military leaders like the CIA and FBI.

We should only defend allies that would defend us or are capable of defending us Germany, Japan, England, etc.

I don't personally think the US should try so hard to protect our allies, because we get roped into wars and other dangers due to these allies.

I think a country should go to a fairly far extremes to defend it's allies. But not so far as to hurt themselves.

If there’s an attack on our allies, we should defend them as they would defend us. Foreign countries, however, should rely on their allies.

I think the US should stay uninvolved.

I believe we should support and defend our allies to an extent in foreign conflicts. However, we shouldn't get directly involved unless our own country or civilians are attacked.
