Puberty blockers are to be banned in England. But not in Scotland.
Are Scottish children different from English ones? If the Tavistock gender clinic is not fit for purpose, how can the Sandyford clinic be safe when it operates on precisely the same principles as the now discredited Tavistock one?
And what about American children? In the US, the government is very keen on defining any alternative to gender-affirming-care as "conversion therapy" and bigotry. This problem is an international one.

Yeah, it's a exclusively Western problem though. If someone tried to pull this **** in, let's say Asia, they will very likely be killed by angry mobs
US has 50 states; the federal government doesn’t have ability to impose national rules(just a big bully pulpit); on top of that this is polling strongly in general public against radical gender approach w an election year. US in midst of sea change too.

Considering the controversy around puberty blockers, should personal autonomy or medical precaution take priority in deciding a minor’s healthcare?
@9KVSXBZRepublican2mos2MO
No, medical precaution should not be deciding a minor's health care it should be the parents.

Friendly reminder that trans isn’t homosexual; it’s any orientation. And straight people created trans laws. They make up 98% of the voting power, the insurance companies, hospitals, and government. Straight people not gay people, are responsible for all of this.
