I’m a retired firefighter and I support the decision. There is one American flag that represents all Americans. We should have never normalized altering it.

That's a flag for nothing other than propaganda. Just like the one with a blue line, etc. It's only purpose is to make first responders and the like feel separate and exalted from the rest of the population.

Why even live in New York City?

The governor of the state clearly, clearly hates you like with a seething rage

the mayor of NYC hates you

judges there hate you

ALMOST all of the law enforcement there hates you( the cops that do love the people love their job and want to protect you are hated)

The majority of people voting for these tyrants bc they lack the ability to see they are the reason these people get power hates you

Just move

leave then new York politics behind and go somewhere else.

Talking about political symbols, how about when New York State senators compared climate change to 9/11?

"The shocking order came March 22 after a man claiming he was a staffer for Democratic Manhattan Councilwoman Carlina Rivera confronted firefighters at Ladder Co. 11, sources said".

New York City's administrative body just keeps doubling down.

Individuals in the NYPD and NYFD need to start pushing back. You can't keep laying down.

We've allowed for hard times. Now we have to make personal sacrifices.

How do you feel about the idea that symbols of remembrance, like the 9/11 tribute flag, could be considered politically charged?
